NORTH ATTLEBORO FARMERS MARKET MOVES INDOORS

It has been less than one week since Hurricane Sandy blew onto shore on the east coast causing death, damage and destruction. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone who was affected by this Super Storm. The Red Cross is taking donations and asking people to give blood. Our office continues to support the relief efforts and hope that our North Attleboro area friends and neighbors do the same. Donate at the RedCross.org.

It’s a difficult thing to go from a disaster to regular life again. The things we share with you here may not seem as important as they used to be. But it’s these little things that keep life moving forward and help us heal.

With that said, we did want to share some local information with you. We have all enjoyed the North Attleboro Farmer’s Market this Spring, Summer and Fall. Locally grown produce and plants are second to none and support the local community. The Farmer’s Market is moving indoors and brining in new ventures for the Winter season as well.

Attleboro Farms weathered Hurricane Sandy with almost no damage and is still going to open on Sunday and ready for the market. New winter vendors include some bakers and coffee makers. They still have room and expect lots more vendors to join in.

This is not just a time to purchase goods for yourself and your family, but to make a difference in our community.

Every year I look forward to the North Attleboro Farmer’s Market. There is nothing like biting into a vine-ripened tomato and the juices running down! It’s an experience that everyone should have on their Bucket List! The vendors at the Farmer’s Market put their heart and soul into raising these fresh flowers,
